Campaign: LA wildfire rapid response
Client: Episcopal Relief & Development
Episcopal Relief & Development partners with communities and organizations around the world to advance programs focused on early childhood development, women and girls, climate resilience, and disaster response. This particular campaign focused on their disaster work and, specifically, the wildfires in Southern California. As soon as the urgent need became apparent, we rushed to create a Wildfire Response Fund modal, donation form, and email — all urging donors to make an emergency donation.
Episcopal Relief & Development's supporters understand the organization's close relationships with local leaders who know how to best support their communities, and are always responsive when presented with an opportunity to offer real, meaningful help on the ground. Through urgent messaging like "Fires continue to burn, but our work is already well underway. Please make an urgent donation to bolster our efforts" and "Entire communities are ablaze. Support the families most impacted," we communicated the pressing needs at this critical time. As the crisis unfolded, we kept the community updated on the efforts and how their support would continue to help. As a result of this emergency campaign, we were able to help Episcopal Relief & Development provide immediate and long-term assistance to those affected by the fires.
